I was fortunate enough to take Professor Marion Coomey's, Broadcast Presentation, module at Ryerson University. In this module I learned how to write, report, interiew, and anchor. Below is my first report done for the Santa Claus Parade in Toronto, Canada. I hope to improve my broadcast presentation skills and create more demo reels in the near future. Once the module was completed, I received a scholarship presented to me by Lloyd Robertson for having the highest GPA in the module.
My most recent videography and editing projects have involved working on an international travel companies' tour videos. I started working at Urban Adventures in the summer of 2014, and continue to dabble with their international partners (there's 90 around the world), to bring their tours to life! You can see all of the current uploaded videos at https://www.youtube.com/user/localsknow.
A dear friend of mine, Alora Arnold, has been outstanding in the fashion industry this year and made a wicked stingray leather jacket for the Danier Leather Competition in 2013. She was kind enough to ask my roommate, Erika Henry, and myself to shoot and edit a promotional video for the competition. To the left is the resulting video, which has the eeriness and magic that her jewerly line - www.ArtifactsJewelry.ca - also expresses.
THE GLOBAL CITY
WOW - what a fantastic time I had producing The Global City: Season 3 with my practicum group this year. For our final fourth-year project we planned, wrote, branded, set-designed, and produced a live student television show that included students from the Unites States, Germany, India, Israel, and Scotland. Using Haivision technology, we were able to connect and discuss topics LIVE on a split screen with international hosts. The EPK package, including a promotional trailer, is available to see below!
